COVID-19 Porte Communities Advisory & Update
Dear Tenants, Homeowners, Trades and Suppliers,
Porte is committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our employees, customers and everyone we do business with. In light of the ongoing changes associated with Coronavirus (COVID-19) we have made adjustments to our working environment and in our properties and developments to help ensure the wellbeing of the community and to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
These are the following adjustments we are making to help do our part:
Head office temporarily closed, but we are here for you virtually!
Our head office team is working remotely and we can assure you that our service to our customers, trades and suppliers continues without interruption. We are just a phone call, email or video call away.
Invoicing – we are going paperless!
Our accounting team is transitioning to paperless invoicing and payments. Please submit invoices to email@example.com and submit your banking details (or void cheque) to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to serving you more efficiently through electronic payments and decreasing our environmental footprint.
Residential & commercial properties.
- All high traffic areas are being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, including railings, doorknobs, elevator call buttons, light switches, and common washrooms;
- Our cleaners are using appropriate disinfectants (EPA registered standards) and are increasing the time spent at each property;
- Some amenity spaces have been closed to prevent congregating. These will be reopened once it’s deemed safe to do so;
- Our team remains fully operational and our maintenance team and contractors are available to tend to your maintenance requests and other inquiries. Some non-essential repairs may need to be delayed to reduce the risk to you and our staff and contractors.
Construction sites still operating with extra precautions.
We are following all government advisories to ensure the safety of the team on our construction sites. We are limiting the number of staff on site, providing extra cleaning of the building, have brought in extra hand washing stations and are ensuring proper working distance between team members wherever possible.
Homeowner service calls – on hold temporarily.
While our homeowner portal is still available to submit service requests, our team will be holding off on attending to service requests for the next few weeks or until the situation with COVID-19 changes in order to ensure the safety of our team and our homeowners.
