Lift Sales Manager

The Porte Group of Companies is looking to add a new member to our team. We are seeking a Sales Manager for a condo development on Burnaby Mountain called Lift. The final release of the remaining 12 homes (gorgeous 2 & 3 bedroom townhomes…some even with rooftop decks!) will be spring 2014 and the building will be move-in ready for summer. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established development company with an excellent reputation who values each and every member of our team. The start date for this position is April 2014.

We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys working with a small sales team and who will follow our purchaser experience program to ensure each and every prospect has the same outstanding experience.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Sales presentations to all prospects visiting presentation centre ensuring all their questions are answered and that all visitors have an exceptional experience
  • Write contracts of Purchase and Sale
  • Follow through on each Contract of Purchase and Sale written to ensure all subjects are removed, deposits and increases of deposits are received and all addenda and paperwork are in order
  • On-going follow-up as required with prospects, purchasers and outside realtors following Porte’s established follow up procedure
  • Manage the site that you are on which includes managing the sales coordinator and ensuring the presentation centre is presentable at all times
  • Be completely familiar with our offering, the competition, contract and disclosure statement
  • Participate in weekly marketing & sales meetings and strategizing sessions as required

You are:

Friendly, reliable, organized, tech savvy, and have great communication skills.

The position is full time 5 days per week, with 2 days off scheduled between Tuesday & Friday. Hours of attendance in the sales centre are from 11:00-5:30pm in order to prepare for opening and closing of the presentation centre. In order to meet the needs of potential clients, the sales manager may have to schedule appointments outside of business hours. A real estate license and experience within real estate is required.   • Greeting & registering guests
  • Ensure that every prospect & purchaser has an outstanding experience in our Presentation Centre
  • Prospecting & following up with visitors
  • Sales presentations as necessary
  • Database management – entering contract details into database as well as prospect information
  • Ensure files & documents are well kept
  • Daily set up of signs & balloons
  • Ensure that the sales office and display suite is kept presentable at all times
  • Assist sales manager as needed
  • Participate in weekly sales & marketing meetings and provide feedback on floor plans, marketing materials and conduct market research as necessary

You Are:

Proactive, organized, tech savvy, passionate about real estate and have great communication skills. Administrative, customer service and/or real estate experience is an asset. LASSO, Excel an asset but must have a reliable car and BC driver’s license. This position is full time, 5 days per week (Fridays off plus one other day during the week) 11:00 – 5:30pm in order to prepare for opening & closing of the presentation centre.
